We have two bear management areas, one for the spring hunt and one for the fall.
Our hunts (rifle and bow) are held at our remote outposts and include comfortable accommodations with fully equipped kitchens and hot showers, boats, motors, unlimited gas, and great fishing. We fly our guests from our floatplane base in downtown Kenora.
The spring bear hunt is held between May 15th and the first week of June. This hunt is in Manitoba and requires a registered guide. Groups of 2-4 require one guide, over 4 requires 2 guides. We provide guides, active baits, licenses, and a basic food package for a seven day hunt. 3 phase bears are in this area with black being the primary colour. $2700. pp plus taxes.
The fall bear hunt is held between August 15th and October 15th. We can custom build this hunt for you according to your needs. Bears in this area are black, and some have the white V.
You can choose your type of hunt from the following options:
1. Guided, semi-guided, no guide
2. Pre-baiting
3. American Plan with home cooked meals and licenses.
4. Housekeeping
5. Skinning
6. Basic or deluxe food package
The fully guided American Plan is $2500 - $3500. plus taxes. The no frills bear hunt (you are on your own with maps), accommodations, boats, motors, gas and flights, is $975. pp plus tax. Other options will be charged accordingly.
Our Ontario bear management unit is the largest in this area. The Manitoba unit is a fair size and both are accessible by float plane only. These areas have not been hunted for 3 years since we acquired ownership as the camps have been booked by fishermen. They were actively hunted before that and we are now set up to offer quality bear hunts. The pictures are from hunts the previous owners conducted and passed on to us. My own pictures at this time only consist of bear damage to our properties. I would be pleased to put you in contact with the guides that will be running these hunts. Both have vast experience in their respective areas and are well known and respected locally. We are pleased to have them on board.

Hunts for deer, waterfowl, small game and calf (moose) for non-residents are held at Lount Lake. The wild rice bays teem with waterfowl and deer, grouse, and moose are in close proximity to camp.
