Wallace Lake is a gateway to Atikaki Provincial Wilderness Park. Located at "the end of the road", Wallace Lake is on the southeast edge of the Atikaki wilderness.
Our Wallace Lake Outpost can serves as an excellent "jumping off" point to a great canoe trip into Atikaki Provincial Wilderness Park. Spend the night, get organized, and head out. Or, spend the last night of your trip at our outpost. Our cabin is a great place to change clothes, sleep off the ground, and get refreshed for the drive home.
Wallace Lake features excellent walleye, northern, and perch fishing as well. With the town of Bissett just a half hour drive away, you can head into town for dinner at a restaurant, or buy groceries.

Location:
3 Hours drive north of Winnipeg, MB. Wallace Lake is 250 km/ 155.3 mi. from Winnipeg via PTH 59, north to PR 304.
Possession Limit &
Size Restrictions:
You can take home 4 Walleye and 4 Northern. Walleye cannot be over 18" and the Northern cannot be over 27" . We encourage catch and release and suggest you get a replica mount of your trophy.
Hooks and Bait:
Barbless hooks must be used at our outposts. You can crimp off the barbs as you use them. There is no live bait allowed in Wallace Lake or other attached feeder systems. Arrangements for bait should be made with Kenora Air before your departure.
Fires:
Open fires are generally permitted in Ontario unless a fire restriction has been issued by the ministry of Natural Resources.In Manitoba, designated fire pits, like the one at camp must be used. All fires are completely banned during dry, windy conditions.

All rates are in U.S. Funds Ontario Sales Tax (PST) and Federal Tax (GST) are extra $200 deposit per person required (transferable but not refundable).

We can also arrange shuttles from Winnipeg International Airport and International Falls Airport.
Some guests may prefer to be picked up at another base. Please call to check on additional costs for arrival/departure from Stewart Lake, Fort Frances, Rainy River, Baudette, Warroad, Winnipeg, Selkirk.
Arrangements for licenses should be made with Kenora Air one week before your departure.
