Lount Lake Lodge is a unique mini-lodge concept: choose either our American, or Housekeeping Plan. A group of 8 (American Plan), or 10 (House Keeping Plan), ensures that one party has the entire lodge to themselves. This guarantees our guests their own level or peace, privacy, and relaxation.
Our American Plan guests will be catered to by our excellent cook who will prepare tasty home cooked meals. Because your party will be the only one in camp; our flexible cook will arrange her schedule to accommodate yours. Coffee at 7:00, brunch at 10:00, no problem!
The coffee pot is always on, the cookie jar is always full.
At Lount Lake Lodge, warm Canadian hospitality is never compromised. Our camp hand will have your boat prepared and your shore lunch kits ready when you are. Just bring your license, fishing gear and personal belongings. We’ll do the rest.
Housekeeping guests will enjoy our fully equipped kitchen facilities with Bar-B-Que, fish cooker, condiments, and coffee supplied. Fish packaging is available in our freezer equipped fish house.
Our friendly and experienced pilots will help you get settled in, answer your questions, and supply you with maps of the hot spots. Camp checks will be provided every 2-3 days, weather permitting.
The Lodge:
Lount is generator equipped with both electric and propane appliances, and hot showers. 3 cabins (2 sleeping, 1 kitchen) Bedding and Linens.
Boats:
16’ Lunds with 20hp Honda 4 Stroke motors, and life jackets. (L-XL are supplied, if you need another size, please bring your own) Life cushions, paddles, landing nets, swivel seats, and mixed gas are also provided.
Lount Lake Fishing:
Lount Lake has a unique structure providing the avid fisherman with everything from weedy bays to deep inlets, deep water reefs, rock drop-offs, and sections of fast currents that ensure good fishing all season long. Fish for Trophy Walleye, Northern, Smallmouth Bass, and Muskie

Lount Lake is a true sportsman’s paradise. Nestled deep in the wilderness 40 miles north of Kenora at GPS coordinates N 50' 11.60' W 094' 19.817'. Lount is part of the famous English River system. Lount Lake itself has over 30 miles of excellent wilderness fishing with the finest being within a 4 mile radius of the camp.
Possession Limit &
Size Restrictions:
You can take home 4 Walleye and 4 Northern. One Walleye over 18" and one Northern over 35.5" may be kept. No Northerns between 27.5" and 35.5" can be kept. We encourage catch and release and suggest you get a replica mount of your trophy.
Hooks and Bait:
You can use live minnows, leeches and worms. Arrangements for bait should be made with Kenora Air before your departure.
Fires:
Open fires are generally permitted in Ontario unless a fire restriction has been issued by the ministry of Natural Resources.
Weight Restrictions:
For safety reasons we allow 300 lbs./person including body weight, any excess baggage will be flown in on a charter basis, space and time permitting at a $1.50 US/LB

4 Days - American Plan: $950/person
5 Days - American Plan: $1100/person
6 Days - American Plan: $1250/person
7 Days - American Plan: $1400/person

Minimum party of 8 3 days - $800/person: Each additional day - $150/person
All rates are in U.S. Funds Ontario Sales Tax (PST) and Federal Tax (GST) are extra $200 deposit per person required (transferable but not refundable).

Additional Information:
We can also arrange shuttles from Winnipeg International Airport and International Falls Airport.
Some guests may prefer to be picked up at another base. Please call to check on additional costs for arrival/departure from Stewart Lake, Fort Frances, Rainy River, Baudette, Warroad, Winnipeg, Selkirk.
Arrangements for licenses should be made with Kenora Air one week before your departure.
